Details of Medium Gray Joint Sealant 310ml Mapesil AC Mapei - Silicone - Mold Resistant

Description

Medium Gray Joint Sealant 310ml Mapesil AC Mapei - Silicone - Anti-Mold

Mapesil AC from MAPEI is a silicone sealant (silicone-based polymer → high elasticity and water resistance) single-component (ready to apply directly) with acetic cross-linking (the sealant hardens because it reacts with moisture in the air), solvent-free, and with EC1 Plus certification for very low emissions.

Specifically designed for professionals who need a durable, elastic, and waterproof seal in construction and renovation projects.

It is the ideal solution for joint sealing in stone and ceramic coverings, sinks, showers, bathtubs, pools, window frames, and facades. It adheres excellently to glass, ceramic, and anodized aluminum, and with prior use of Primer FD also to concrete, wood, metal, and painted surfaces. It allows joint movement of up to ±25% of its original size.

Incorporation of biocides (fungicides) Anti-Mold

  • The formulation includes additives that inhibit mold growth.
  • They act by interfering with mold cellular processes (membrane, metabolism).

Among its main technical features are:

  1. High elasticity with elongation at break of 800%
  2. Resistance to extreme temperatures from -40°C to +180°C
  3. Waterproof and vapor permeable
  4. Resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents.

Cartridge capacity: 310 ml
